I am Lecturer in Innovation Management at the Norwich Business School (NBS) and at UEA London. I gained my PhD in Technology and Innovation Management from the University of Sussex at the Science and technology Policy Research (SPRU). I also completed successfully and with distinction an MPhil in Economics and Management of Technology and a BSc in Management of Finance.

Prior to joining the NBS I worked for four years for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) designing and implementing technological projects in the fields of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and Renewable Energy mainly in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

I am currently the Course Leader for MSc in Strategic Information Systems.
 

My main research interest is currently focused on the Internet Governance, specifically to the security issues of the Internet. I have also special interests on the business models for the provision of new services in the Internet and telecommunications industries as well as their regulatory and policy related issues.

Currently, I teach the undergraduate courses Information Systems and Business Research and Information Systems for Management in Norwich and UEA London.

At a postgraduate level, I teach the MSc course in E-business in London and play a minor role in the MSc course of Integrated Business Decisions.

During the last two years I have been supervising 13 MSc students mainly in issues related to Innovation Management and Information Systems topics.

I am active member of the following associations: International Association for Management of Technology, Econ@Tel A Telecommunications Economics COST Network, Global Internet Governance Academic Network (GigaNet), Prime Network, Internet Society (ISOC) Chapter England and Mexico, Sociedad para la Promocion de Ciencia y Tecnologia as well as being Board Member at Diplo Foundation.

I currently am the Course Leader for MSc in Strategic Information Systems.
