Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer in Operations and Supply Chain Management in the Norwich Business School. I gained my PhD (with research focus on supply chain management), an MSc (with distinction) in Industrial Engineering and Industrial Management, and a bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, all from the University of Hong Kong. I also earned a bachelor degree in Economics and Management from London School of Economics and Political Science.

Prior to joining the school in 2007, I was a project leader (carrying the title of research associate) of a government funded research project entitled “An Eco-Design and Manufacturing Program for Electronic Products with reference to the Energy Using Product (EuP) Directive 2005/32/EC”, at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Before I started reading my doctoral degree, I had been working as a design and project engineer in the electronic manufacturing sector in Hong Kong.

I am a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. I am a Chartered Engineer and also a Chartered Marketer. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
