I joined the University of East Anglia London as a Senior Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour and Associate Director of Enterprise and Engagement in September 2011. I was previously Senior Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour and Management at the Leibniz University of Hannover, Germany, where I gained both my diploma degree in Business Administration and doctorate, and I am still connected with this institution as a Visiting Professor. Before entering academia I was working in the tourism industry for more than eleven years.

I have been teaching for more than ten years, with a strong Organisational Behaviour focus and emphasis on leadership and followership. I work with executives from different industries and on all hierarchical levels. I am also engaged in some consulting activities in the fields of leadership and organizational energy.

I work with researchers from the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands and the US, present my research at international conferences and publish my work in international journals and books. My credo is not only to do rigorous research, but to also make my research accessible to managers by translating it into practice.

My main research interests are in the area of followership, leadership, relationships at work, organizational energy and academic-practitioners collaborative research.
