Dragon Hall Local Beer Festival

Dragon Hall Local Beer Festival

Dragon Hall Local Beer Festival was arranged by a team of 12 MBA students from the Norwich Business School as part of their MBA Management Consultancy curriculum.

The events main objective was to raise the profile and valuable funds for Dragon Hall a medieval trading hall in the heart of Norwich. The festival also wanted to help small local breweries promote themselves and provide additional opportunities for the public to taste and appreciate Anglian real ale brewed according to historical traditions.

More than twelve Norfolk breweries and the Real Ale shop from Wells-next-the-Sea agreed to sponsor the event by donating firkins and bottles of beer. Meze restaurant from The Price of Wales Road, Norwich also sponsored the beer festival by providing delicious food.

The Norwich branch of CAMRA supported the festival by providing professional advice and all the necessary equipment for the festival such as beer taps, bar tables, towels, and many other useful items.

During the two-day festival the MBA team sold over 300 advance tickets and a further 380 tickets on the doors. The event was a great success, and managed to raise in excess of £3,000 over the two days for Dragon Hall charity.
