Entry Requirements
MBA Entry Requirements
Norwich Business School takes into account three areas when considering MBA applications. These are qualifications, work experience and English language (if applicable).
Qualifications
MBA candidates should normally have achieved one of the following:
- A degree at first or second-class honours degree or international equivalent, or
- Relevant postgraduate diploma, or
- Qualification from a professional body acceptable to UEA, or
- Substantial responsible work experience in a managerial role (no less than five years if the candidate does not have a degree level qualification).
Work Experience
A record of responsible work experience (normally a minimum of three years). Please include a full cv with your application emphasising this experience.
English Language
We welcome applications from those whose first language is not English or those whose degree was not taught in English. To ensure such participants benefit fully from postgraduate study, we require evidence of proficiency in English. Our entry requirements are as follows:
- IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum score of 6.0 in all components: reading, writing, speaking and listening)
- Internet-based TOEFL 92-94 (with a minimum score of 20 in all components: reading, writing, speaking and listening)
Please note that Norwich Business School does not accept WELT (Warwick English Language Test) for MBA Admissions.
Please note: At the discretion of the MBA Programme Director, further assessment of a candidates level of English ability may be requested by means of an interview or evaluation of written qualitative/quantitative work of the candidate.
