A team of MBA General students studied the extremes of rise and fall in stock market prices in 250 businesses over a recent five year period and correlated these with company risk events, both internal and external Shareholder value: impact of risk events and relevance of intangible assets. The students developed and negotiated a proposal to study this activity and, with regular contact and presentations delivered, met all deadlines.
The client was very excited by its findings and the UK Managing Director commented The feedback I have had from members of my team concerning the conduct and professionalism of the group running the research has been nothing but positive. Our clients regularly ask us to demonstrate the value that can be created by managing risk and this piece of work provides us with another perspective.
