networking3NMDC Research in Business Intern Programme (RIBIP)

Outline

The Research in Business Intern Programme (RIBIP) has been created to provide businesses with MSc management students able to undertake research on behalf of the business.

Each student will have completed two semesters of units of their MSc management degree and then in the third semester (Summer) they must complete a 13 week management research project. This can be done on their own subject or in the case of RIBIP Interns, on a subject within a business.

Benefits to the Business

  • Enthusiastic Masters level management student(s) keen to work on a real business issue.

  • An opportunity to pursue research into an ongoing subject or the opportunity to work on an idea that the business has but doesn't have the resource available to investigate it further.

  • The benefit of a fresh pair of eyes giving an external perspective and because the Intern is supervised by a member of School staff, expert input into the research.
