Platinum Investment Property Rugby Tournament
The Platinum Rugby Tournament was arranged by a team of 14 MBA students from the Norwich Business School as part of their MBA Management Consultancy curriculum.
The events main objective was to raise the profile and valuable funds for Dragon Hall a medieval trading hall in the heart of Norwich. The event was created as a Rugby Tournament comprising of local teams competing for the Platinum Trophy and Shield. Thirteen teams competed for the accolade over the entire day, the RFU (Rugby Football Union) supported the event, and furthermore the organisers were able to secure sponsorship from Platinum Investment Property.
The tournament was held at the Crusaders Rugby Football Club and saw the Norwich Rebels win the shield with the Main trophy being won by Validus I. - The tournament was a success for all parties including the host rugby club, RFU, sponsors and the Dragon Hall with over GBP 500 being raised for the charity.
