Scholarships and Bursaries
In collaboration with our business partners we offer the following scholarships for the 2013 full-time MBA programme:
Early Bird Scholarships
We are offering five Early Bird scholarships worth 50% (£8,250) of the full-time MBA course fee for entry in January 2013. Details of how to apply for one of these scholarships can be found below. The only exception is that your application must be received by Friday 29th June 2012.
The Carbon Reduction Scholarship - £5,000
We are offering five Carbon Reduction Scholarships to candidates holding offers on the full-time MBA Strategic Carbon Management.
Norwich Business School UK and EU Scholarships - £5,000
Norwich Business School is offering five scholarships, each worth £5,000 to full-time MBA offer holders with UK or EU status.
Norwich Business School International Scholarship - £5,000
Norwich Business School is offering three scholarships, each worth £5,000, to full-time MBA offer holders with international status.
How to apply for a scholarship
To apply for any of the above scholarships, please send us a 1000-word statement outlining how your ideas and achievements will be contributing to the cohort of our January 2013 MBA programme. Please email your 1000-word statement to scholarshipsnbs@uea.ac.uk. If you apply for a scholarship and are unsuccessful, you will automatically be considered for a bursary.
Other scholarship information:
- Scholarship applications will only be considered from candidates who already hold an offer of a place on the full-time MBA programme.
- The deadline for submitting a scholarship application (with the exception of the Early Bird offer) is Friday 19th October 2012.
- Scholarship applicants will be informed whether they have been successful by the beginning of November 2012.
- Successful scholarship applicants will have the amount awarded deducted from their tuition fee once they have registered for the course.
- A student who is awarded a scholarship will not be able to accept a bursary, if one has already been awarded. The student can only accept one scholarship.
Bursaries
How to apply for a bursary
To be considered for a bursary you must have emailed your request to us by Friday 14th December 2012. A number of bursaries are available to candidates who already hold an offer for the full-time MBA programme from any part of the world. These are in the range of £1000 to £3000. Please remember the deadline is Friday 14th December 2012.
If you have applied for a scholarship and are unsuccessful in your scholarship application, we will use the same 1000-word case to consider you for a bursary. However, if you are only applying for a bursary, please send us a 1000-word statement outlining the potential contribution you could make to the 2013 MBA cohort. Please send your 1000-word statement to scholarshipsnbs@uea.ac.uk
Applicants who are offered a bursary will have the amount deducted from their tuition fee once they have registered for the course.
