Having just completed their first year of delivery the Outset Norfolk team are proud to announce that they have helped over 54 new business start-up's and engaged with literally 100's of clients, facilitating bespoke training and mentoring.

As a result the funding has been extended until March 31st 2012. Therefore they are looking for people who are interested in exploring whether their ideas or hobbies can grow into businesses, and who are open to learning how to make it happen. Outset Norfolk can offer you free support in your journey to enterprise! Book your place now!

Outset Norfolk is a free programme offering support, advice, mentoring and coaching for Norfolk people interested in starting their own business. Perhaps you’ve reached a crossroads in your life and have been thinking about working for yourself. Or maybe you’re a graduate who has an idea for a business rather than hunt for a job. Or a mum who wants to grow a hobby into a part-time business to work around your family.

Thanks to funding from EEDA and Norfolk County Council, Outset Norfolk is a free programme to raise awareness of the benefits of enterprise, and support people from across the county to start their own businesses.

The 4-stage programme comprises info sessions and workshops, one-to-one guidance meetings, individual coaching and mentoring, and connections to further start-up training or support.

Outset Norfolk actively support the following range of under-represented enterprise groups: women; NEET’s, under 25s; over 50s; long-term unemployed; disabled or ill health; anyone facing or made redundant; black, minority or ethnic groups (BME); and single parents.

Outset Norfolk's role is to help you decide if self-employment is for you, and support you through providing a coach or mentor to work alongside you and help you develop your ideas and increase your confidence. When you’re ready to take the next step into start-up training, they will connect you directly to the right support.
